Yeah, snow. A pretty good amount of it, still falling. Why don't we get these daytime storms on weekdays? It seems like the last three months I've been going to work in clear weather only to have snow develop in time for a harrowing drive home. Then the whole thing ends after midnight, allowing for clear but slushy, sandy, salty roads in the morning. But today, on a Saturday, we have an early morning storm going through the day, keeping me at home. Great.
It's actually supposed to stop here in the afternoon, but the storm will then be moving north to Boston, making a drive up unwise. So, nothing to do but look out the window and watch cars spin out as they try to climb the snow-covered hill. No gallery going today, though possibly a little writing. And tomorrow brings conserving 18th century furniture at the MFA. Which, despite what I wrote below, I'm actually looking forward to, as well as to the opportunity to finally see some of the exhibits up there now (and no, I don't mean the cars.)
