Qu'est-ce que le Tiers état?

I see that the Getty is opening the David show that will someday make its way to the Clark.  Any chance some of our southern Californian friends will give us a preview?  I am very interested in this exhibition, especially the later portraits.

Interesting that Alex Donis is giving a talk in conjunction with this exhibition. I can't seem to figure out his connection to David.

I can't claim to know, but from the blurb it seems like they're going for more of a general politics/fashion parallel than direct link.
