Roy Edroso's alicublog has long been one of my favorite sites, though I'm sure it's not for everyone. It's too caustic for many, I imagine, and his biting view of the political and social scene some will find amusing and others appalling. But as so often is the case, Roy's bitterness is a mask for an underlying romanticism, and he's a gifted writer and critic as well. This piece from the archives, on Glen Campbell and his "Wichita Lineman" remains one of my favorites. Check it out, if you haven't read it already. Since the link to the photo in Roy's post seems to be broken, I've got it here.
